Stand Firm with Israel

I wonder if January is indicative of what the year is going to be like! There’s no doubt we are in the end days – maybe the Lord has granted us a bit more time to reach the unsaved by having Trump taking office. More time for the Messianic community in Israel to reach their brothers and sisters with the good news that Yeshua is their Messiah. The news that the Apostle Paul was so desperate to reach those brothers with, that he was prepared to give up so much for!
It's a challenge to me. Am I that desperate to use this time to reach the unsaved?
Along with that, am I that desperate to see my fellow believers prepared to stand on the side of the apple of God’s eye – Israel.
Are you the only one in your church who is willing to support Israel and the Jews? Possibly not, I encourage you to step out, make it known where you stand, you just may find there are other like-minded folk. (Be careful not to come across as a ‘nutty’ supporter though! Our enthusiasm/passion can run away with us sometimes!)
Just a quick word on the ‘deal’ made to release the hostages from Gaza. This was no deal – this is extortion. The leaders of the western world should be ashamed of themselves – barely a word of pressure on Hamas. In Gaza itself, what a disappointment to find not one civilian was prepared to take up Israels offer made months ago, of a big financial reward and safe passage for information on the hostages. Especially now we discover from two of the freed hostages that at times they were held in the UNRWA headquarters.
Continue to share your support of Israel and the Jewish people - and in light of the recent actions of John Minto – especially the Jewish people and Israeli’s in NZ.
Praying with you for:
The safety of the hostages still alive
The safety of the IDF responsible in Gaza to see the ‘deal’ adhered to.
Godly wisdom for the Israeli government.
This morning as I finish this ready for Linda to post, I am still feeling the effect of watching the release of the four hostages on live feed. In my mind were the words of one of the 3 hostages released last week during their release “I was afraid we were going to be lynched” The red cross car seemed to take so long to drive through the mob so filled with hate. Much prayer is needed over these next critical weeks.
